As the Family Health & Education Resources mission grows and expands to more commnuities and across more platforms in order to reach as many people as possible with the hope of the gospel, we adopted the biblical model of "tentmaking" in order to fund ministry. The Apostle Paul accepted the generosity of the supporters of his missionary work, but we know from Acts 18:1-3 that while he was laboring in the Lord's vineyard, he he took work in his trade as a tentmaker.

I started crafting toxin-free skincare more than a decade before I endeavored to launch into self-supporting ministry. It has long been a passion of mine to create products that I could feel good about applying the the delicate skin of my children and grandchilren; products that actually work. I also happen to be a beekeeper who is obsessed with the miraculous benefits of raw honey and incorporate the liquid gold my hives produce into every formulation.

It was while batching a simple lotion at the request of my oldest daughter that I was in prayer about the means by which I would fund the Free Indeed programs (and Family HEalth & Education Resources, as a whole). The Lord impressed me with the example Paul gives for funding oneself in ministry so as to "not to burdensome" to the early church (1 Thessalonians 2:9). He inspired me to become a "tentmaker," of sorts.

The private line of skincare products that I had been tweaking and adjusting became the foundational means by which Family Health & Education Resources is funded. We do not charge any church or group any fees for the trainings we conduct to establish in-person Free Indeed & Recovery Road programs, nor do we charge for the complete program materials themselves. We ask for reimbursement for lodging and travel, we accept a love offering, and we conduct a sales table at the close of the training with our products and books. We don't fundraise, and our programs are always free-to-the-public.

If you would like to support our mission to equip and empower prople to overcome the cycle of depression and/or addiction and realize the life of abundance freely offered in Jesus, we gladly accept donations, but we especially love to be able to introduce folks to the amazing products in the HunnyBee Farm Stand line of skin and body care.

Thank you for your generous support.
